On Wednesday 30th November, Year 6 attended the Gorse Hill Baptist Church for the annual event - Christmas Unwrapped. Here, we got to learn about the true Christmas story and how over time, other details have been added (like how a donkey has never been mentioned in the actually story!)
After that, we got make our very own mince pies, which we loved. We could decorated them however we liked. The church hall filled with the smell of baking mince pies as we played a Christmas quiz, it was just lovely. Definitely a good start to the Christmas period.
We loved our time at Christmas Unwrapped and learned so much about the Christmas Story. We can't wait to go back for Easter Unwrapped!
