On Thursday 9th February, the whole school took part in a whole school vote.
After recommendations from the school council that having a weekly non-school uniform day would improve wellbeing and school attendance, the children were all given the chance to vote on the following question. Should Fridays become a weekly non-school uniform day?
After a speech in assembly by Head Boy and Head Girl on the importance of voting and democracy, Thursday 9th saw children taking part in the school’s first voting day. Over 95% of the children put in their vote and the results were counted! The results were an overwhelming “YES!”
