Year 1 & Year 2 take a trip on the train!
On Friday 23rd June, Year 1 and Year 2 visited Swindon Train Station to catch a train to Chippenham. All term, the children have been learning about the important historical figure Isambard Kingdom Brunel and his role in Swindon's Great Western Railway. On their visit to the train station, the children learnt a lot about modern day railways and then caught a train to Chippenham. For some children, this was their first ride on a train and they all came back to school excited to tell everyone about their day.
